Best Student Pubs & Places to eat in Broomhill

Summer holidays are practically over and getting back into the swing of Uni, lectures, placements & dissertations is one thing we’re sure your looking to but another has to be what Sheffield has to offer in the way of fun nights out.

Now, if your second and third year students of Sheffield, you'll probably no all the hip, cool places to go but there may be some hidden gems in the Steel City you haven’t encountered yet. And for all you Freshers, take a peek.

Let’s break it down over the next couple of weeks, starting with......BROOMHILL       

A real student vibe goes off in this area, surrounded by great pubs, restaurants, take-aways and coffee shops.

Fox & Duck is a firm favourite with the students, great craft beer, pizzas and a quiz starting on the 6th September. Every Thursday a Burrito & bottle of sol for a tenner. Free WIFI also, something many pubs are now offering.

The Bloomery – Cask Ales or Cocktails so something for everyone’s taste. A Quiz every Sunday from 8pm to win £25. Free WIFI. A great, vibrant fun atmosphere.

The York – Classy feel pub that serves great Sheffield grub. Check out their ‘what’s on’ section of their webpage for a full list of what’s going on. Homely food from Sunday Roasts to fish & chips, there’s nothing to not like about this place.

The Nottingham House – Surely everyone’s heard of this place with the fab pie nights they have on offer. If not take a look and try it out, you won’t regret it.

Balti King – No night would be the same without finishing it off in here. Every curry imaginable from the mildest of Kormas to the super-hot Vindaloo. Its even open from 12 noon if you fancied Curry for lunch!

Proove – Only 3 restaurants in the country and lucky Sheffield has 2 in our great city. Perfect wood fire Pizzas what more is there to say! Share a pizza over a chat and glass of Vino

Our Broom Street and William Street tennants have begun to move out and we have our first empty property, and what a fab condition it's been left in. Great example of how to look after a home.

We can't believe how fast this year has gone, our tenants will start moving out from mid June & we'll then begin welcoming a whole new bunch of students.

If you are a student why not start sorting through some of your items now, think about whether you will need it for your next property or will a charity shop benefit from it? There are heaps of charity shops along Ecclesall Rd and in Crookes.

Last night we attended the very first Sheffield Landlords Award at The Mecure St Paul's Hotel.

We are delighted to announce that we were crowned winners of the 'OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE AWARD 2017' .

We would like to thank all our current & previous tenants who made time to vote for us in all the categories. It is a real honour to have not only won this award but to have been nominated in the first place.

To be formally recognised for the great customer service we give to our tenants who are living in our properties whilst studying at Uni is something we are very proud of.

We were also shortlisted for 'The Extra Mile Award', 'Letting Agent of the Year' & 'Private Landlord of the Year'
