University of Sheffield
The University of Sheffield is one of Sheffield's two universities and is located just a short walk from the city centre. Its main campus is surrounded by some of the city's most popular student areas, including Broomhall, Broomhill, Crookes and Crookesmoor.
The University campus is home to many of the buildings students will use throughout their studies, with specialist facilities located nearby, including The Diamond and The Wave. Main University Campus – The main University of Sheffield campus stretches across the area around Western Bank and includes many of the University's teaching buildings, libraries and student facilities.
The Diamond – The Diamond is one of the University's key teaching and learning buildings, particularly for engineering and other technical subjects. It is located close to the main campus and is an important landmark for students.
The Wave – The Wave is the University's sports and recreation facility, offering students a range of facilities for exercise, sport and wellbeing. It is located on the University's campus close to the main student areas.

Sheffield Hallam University
Sheffield Hallam University has two main campuses in Sheffield – City Campus and Collegiate Campus. Both are within easy reach of the city centre, but they are in different parts of the city, so where you choose to live can make a real difference to your daily journey.
City Campus is right in the heart of Sheffield, close to the main shopping areas, restaurants, nightlife and Sheffield's transport links. Collegiate Campus is located just off Ecclesall Road, surrounded by popular student areas, cafés, restaurants and green spaces.

Sheffield Hallam's City Campus is right in the centre of Sheffield, making it particularly convenient for students who enjoy having shops, restaurants, cafés, entertainment and transport links close by.
The campus is spread across a number of buildings around the city centre, with Sheffield railway station and the main bus and tram connections also nearby.

Collegiate Campus
Collegiate Campus is located just off Ecclesall Road, one of Sheffield's most popular student areas with lower rents than other parts of Sheffield. The campus is close to cafés, restaurants, independent shops and bars, while Endcliffe Park and Sheffield Botanical Gardens are also nearby.
Its location makes Ecclesall and the surrounding areas particularly popular with Sheffield Hallam students looking for private student accommodation.
