Sheffield has a vibrant and much loved art/music scene, since 2014 Sheffield has been painted with Street Art and Grafitti, check out the various locations here, all of which have been done by various different artisits.

First week at/back at University!

26 September 2022

How did you first week at/back at University go?

We hope you are settling in well!

Here are a few tips we hope you find useful when moving/living in a new home away from home:

Creating a homely feel when at University can make a huge difference, but remember homesickness is completely natural.

Whilst you cannot bring friends and family with you there are a few things you can do to help you feel happy and settled in your Student Accommodation.

Smile choose people to live with who you get on with and share similar interests with

Smile bring framed photos with you from home to put on your desk

Smile bringing homes conforts with you such as scentimental items can make a huge difference.

Smile scented diffusers that remind you of home give a lovely homely feel to student accommodation

But what also may help is having a video call with loved ones when you feel homesick and tell them about your student accommodation and what you may have done the previous week so they feel part of your journey living away from home.

Don't forget we will soon be going live with out 23/24 properties so keep your eyes peeled, why not sign up to be the first to hear about our available properties here!
